The Salesforce OmniStudio Consultant credential is designed for individuals who have worked in customer-facing roles and have provided consulting on cloud application development with OmniStudio tools. Candidates who are able to explain the purpose of OmniStudio tools and can use OmniStudio tools to design solutions that meet the business needs of customers, are easy to maintain, scalable, and contribute to the long-term success of customers
Description of the Audience: Salesforce OmniStudio Consultant
The candidate for Salesforce Certified OmniStudio Consultant is looking to demonstrate their understanding of how to use OmniStudio tools to meet business requirements and is interested in consulting on digital transformation projects that rely on OmniStudio tools.
The candidate for Salesforce Certified OmniStudio Consultant has technical facilitation and consultative skills. The candidate for consultant could be employed internally or work as a consultant. The candidate has two to five years of experience in one or more of the following roles, in addition to at least one year of Salesforce experience:
- Business Analyst or Business Consultant
- Consultant/Senior Consultant
- Solution Architect
- Delivery Manager/Director
- Project, Product, or Program Manager
- UX Designer
Salesforce Certified OmniStudio consultant candidates should be able to identify the business requirements and determine which of the OmniStudio tools should be used to implement them.
The OmniStudio Consultant candidate has the experience, skills, and knowledge outlined below:
Familiarity with CRM business logic and processes
Be familiar with Salesforce Service, Sales, and Experience Clouds as well as Sales & Service life cycles.
Understand the benefits and limitations of all OmniStudio tools
FlexCards
OmniScripts
Integration Procedures
DataRaptors
Expression Sets & Decision Matrices
Know why using pre-built applications is a good idea. You should also be able to gather business requirements and use the tools to meet them and follow best practices.
can evaluate the UX/UI changes required for OS or Cards.
Understand the fundamental implementations of OmniScript, DataRaptors, FlexCards, Integration Procedures, Expression Sets, and Decision Matrices.
Be able to download and adapt an Industry Process to an Organization/Sandbox.
Develop the plan for the solution’s implementation.
Implement and customize UX/UI to satisfy customer requirements.
It is not expected of a candidate for this exam to implement the designed solution or resolve problems related to the solution itself. The candidate will not be required to analyze performance, write code, customize development, or configure the application. In addition, they won’t be expected to know how to program or design (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, APEX, etc.). or have prior experience configuring security settings for the Salesforce platform.

Content: 60 multiple-choice/multiple-select questions and up to 5 unscored questions*
Time allotted to complete the exam: 105 minutes
Passing score: 63%
Registration fee: USD 200, plus applicable taxes as required per local law
Retake fee: USD 100, plus applicable taxes as required per local law
Delivery options: Proctored exam delivered onsite at a testing center or in an online proctored environment.
References: No hard-copy or online materials may be referenced during the exam.

*Please be aware that as of November 16, 2017, up to five additional unscored questions may be added to some Salesforce certification exams at random to collect information on how well the questions were answered. Each exam’s duration has been evaluated and modified to accommodate the unscored questions. Your score will not be affected in any way by these five questions, which will be added to the 60 questions that were scored on your exam.
